"I got this recipe from a Charleston Junior League cookbook. This is always a hit on the buffet at my Christmas party. Think of this appetizer as a very fresh bloody mary. (Cook time is time allowed for marination.)"

"These are one of my standards. They are a hit wherever they go; and are a nice light appetizer in the summer months. I use grape tomatoes and more vodka. The biggest problem I have is keeping the kids away!"
"I had high hopes for these, based on the reviews, so I made them for a Christmas Eve brunch. Maybe I didn't pierce the tomatoes deeply enough, but I felt as though they hadn't soaked up any of the vodka, even though I had marinated them overnight. They didn't taste bad, but they didn't get rave reviews either - mostly people said that it was an "interesting idea". I might try these again, but I'll be bringing a second dish just in case."
"These are GREAT. My DH made these one day to have something for a snack. I will be making these to serve at parties. Thank you, for this easy yummy recipe."
"This was the top appetizer at a New Year's Eve party. I wasn't able to attend the party but I wanted to drop off an appetizer anyways. Boy, was this an easy one to do. I cleaned the cherry tomatoes, sent along a bottle of vodka, put the seasoning mix in a small plastic bag and included the toothpicks. I asked the hostess to poke the holes in the tomatoes and pour the vodka over them about 2 hours before serving. (I just noticed that the directions say 6 hours before serving. Ooops!) I also included a small bag of kosher salt for dipping and asked the hostess to put a few drops of hot sauce in with the vodka."
"This was quite a novel idea for our Christmas Day lunch. I ended up soaking the tomatoes for longer than stated and they were great. Thanks for sharing. "
"*hic* I love Bloody Mary's so decided to give this a try and I am *hic* happy I did~they were delicious. I used 50 cherry tomatoes and increased the Vodka *hic* to 1 and a half cups *hic*--A friend of mine said he didnt like the lemon pepper, so he just used the celery salt on the side-I told him to just go lick a salt block. *hic* Anyway-these won werederful! (were wonderful *hic* ) Thanks Pedro, for something so easy & tasty even I can make *hic* *hic*"
