"Someone said I should post this as a recipe, not just mention it on the gardening message board. It seems too simple to think of as a recipe, but here it is! (I also do this with rose-scented geranium leaves.)"

"I have made this for several years now. My favorite use is to mix up diced mango and some fresh berries (like blackberries). Sprinkle the lavender sugar over it. I let it set overnight and then have it for lunch the next day. Unbelievably wonderful!"
"This recipes interests me-but there is no ratio of blossoms to sugar (if there is a ratio, please would you let me know) This would make a great gift :)"
"The smell is so inviting, I have made Vanilla sugar before and never thought of Lavender sugar. I also put some lavender in powdered sugar and plan on making icing #65210 if I can ever find rose water. I made a special basket of Lavender fudge#172465, with Lavender shortbread #100640, , Lavender jelly #101138 a print out of the recipes and some chamomile tea for a special birthday gift last month. I have gone Lavender, I plan to make more things with lavender, I am hooked."
"Oh this is wonderful in my iced tea. Would have never thought of doing this. Thank you!"
"This smelled so good after letting it sit a few days! I used it in chamomile tea and it was delicious! Thank you Charlis!"
