"A delicious twist on an old favorite. A rich and sinful caramel layer nestled between two layers of Krispies bars. It is sweet, it is gooey, and once you try these you won't ever want to eat a plain Krispies bar again! (Prep time includes refrigeration)"
Serving Size: 1 (60 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 24
"Thank you for this recipe! The first time I made these, I didn't have enough rice krispies, so substituted corn flakes. They were a hit! That's how I make them every time, now. (Plus, I use butter instead of margarine.) Now, at my kids' school, I am famous for these bars!!! I totally agree, "you won't ever want to eat a plain Krispies bar again!" (I have also been in too much of a time crunch to refrigerate the caramel layer and that seems to not affect their wonderfulness.)"
"Excellent bars. I brought these to the office for birthday treats and they were a BIG hit. They are a simple but fabulous sweet treat."
"I loved these, but agree to only use half the caramel, it was a little too much. But they were great! Thanks!"
"I made this and brought them to work...it was wonderful! Everyone loved them! They keep asking when I am bringing more! Thanks so much!!"
"Only add about half the caramel, it was way too sweet for everyone who tried it, the caramel was a little overbearing. Otherwise, it was awesome!"
"Jannie, I made this recipejust as instructed, and it turned out wonderful.I loved the carmel layer,It was like having a rice crispy treat sandwich with carmel as a hidden treat. Thanks,Darlene Summers"
