"This is the same recipe I use (I found mine in "Cotton Country") and it really makes a wonderfully delicious pecan pie. That browned butter makes all the difference, doesn't it? Everyone should try this recipe!"
"This was a first try for me in making a pecan pie. Because of the 5 star rating and great remarks from others I knew I wanted to try this. It is hands down one of the best pecan pies I have eaten. "Wow, Wow, Wow!!! This is one rich pie! I made this for Thanksgiving dinner, and it was the BEST pecan pie I have ever made. Browning the butter really does make a difference and lends this pie a terrific flavour. I loved the crushed pecans, and added a few of them whole as well, just for kicks.
