"Whenever I don't have alot of time to make supper, this is so easy and quick. You can mix all the ingredients on wax paper and when finished just throw it away. My man loves venison this way."

"I cook and eat a lot of venison and have many delicious recipes. This one definitely rates high! very simple and quick. I used back straps cut one inch thick. I used powders instead of salts for the garlic and onion and added a small amount of regular salt. I had no Mrs. Dash and used a pinch of Crazy Mixed Up Salt. My oil was 2 parts butter to1 part bacon grease. Cast iron skillet, 7 minutes per side. my wife loved it! PERFECT! Made pan gravy with the drippings with more flour and milk. TOO GOOD!!!!"
"My significant other and I work different shifts so I like to make good easy meals. I have to say this is one of the best, and simplest ways to make venison I have found yet. Even my three year old loved it. Two thumbs up"
"Delicious, simple, quick....and did I mention delicious?"
"this recipe is amazing!!!!! I grew up on venison (hunting is in my blood!) but this recipe brings extra savor to the meat and is delicious! I even got 2 thumbs up from my boyfriend that hates venison :) great job!!"
"Very good and easy to make. I am always looking for new ways to eat venison as I am fortunate to have a hubby that hunts :) The whole family enjoyed this. I made exactly as written other then I used garlic powder and onion powder instead of garlic salt and onion salt."
"This is similar to the way I grew up eating venison. I'm not positive what my mom always throws in for spices, but it's usually something along the lines of this (black pepper, Mrs. Dash, garlic powder, onion powder). She would always make this with fried potatoes and green beens, and make a milk gravy from the meat drippings. I would also break up a slice of bread into bite size pieces and cover it in the gravy... Not a light meal, and certainly not the most healthy, but one of my favorite comfort meals, for sure!"
"Tasty and Quick. Next time I will add black pepper. (Not enough black pepper in Mrs.Dash's to suit us.) But Yummy this way too."
"This is an awesome deer steak recipe I will make it again many times. It was also very good for a quick fix."
"Absolutely OUTSTANDING. Quick and easy, and extremely tasty! I added 1/2 a tsp. of chili powder, which gave it a pleasant bit of zip. I'm so glad I found this recipe!!"
"This was really good! My kids loved deer fixed this way. The only thing I would say is if you are not a salt fan, it might be too salty. I like things salty, so I thought it was great."
"Excellent. I substituted Lawry's poultry seasoning and minced onions. Still turned out fabulous. Easy, tasty, & tender."
"My dh raved over this one, it was very good. I thought it was slightly salty so will reduce the salts slightly next time, but definitely a winner. Thanks!"
"5 very big stars from me! I tend to dislike venison but with this recipe it is fabulous! I discovered I didn't have onion salt, so I did 1/2 onion powder and 1/2 salt. It worked wonderfully and these were so good and tender."
"Excellent, quick and easy recipe. The family devoured the venison steaks. I will be using this again since we still have more in the freezer. "
"Big hit at my house with my husband and my 4 and 2 year olds. Just added a sprinkle of McCormicks Steak Seasoning when they were in the pan. I don't think I cooked them the entire 10 minutes though. Delicious and tender!"
"Sometimes I forget how delicious the simple recipes can be. This was simple as can be and just great! I added some onions and mushrooms to the pan, but wouldn't change a thing! Dh and I loved it!"
" I always thougt the only way to prepare venison steaks was on the grill.Boy was I wrong, I followed the recipe exactly. It was great. I will use this recipe often. Thanks Kim127."
"Awesome, quick and easy. Just enough to make people think you were slaving away."
