"One of my favorite Christmas Candy to make...it takes patience to get to 300 degree temp but worth the wait!"
"This was super yummy. I couldn't stop eating it. I did have a hard time getting it to 305 degrees without burning it. The first batch I burned. I was careful the 2nd time and kept the heat much lower, but it still started to burn at the end. Very yummy though. Everyone loved it."

"This was a wonderfully easy recipe. I decided to pour my pecans in the pan first after toasting them a bit, and I poured the toffee over them rather than putting them on top of the chocolate...WOW did that turn out yummy! I only had chopped pecans, which were rather large pieces, and didn't have the time to crush them. The candy broke up into wonderful chunky pieces that are full of pecans! It may not have turned out as "traditional" as anticipated, but it is addictively good! Thanks for a great recipe!"

"This was a simple recipe that was easy for this candy novice to follow. It took 20-30 minutes for the butter sugar to reach 305 degrees and it had a lovely golden brown color somewhat darker than honey. Couldn't decide between pecans or walnuts so I did 1/2 of each. Will include this as a perrenial dish for gift giving."
