"I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a hit. I used frozen pie shells and it made 2 pies. The cranberry compote helps the cherries stand up to the cinnamon and apple favors. Am making it again for Christmas. I love cherry pie so this recipe is a good holiday version of my favorite."
