"I made this to use in the "Dining on a Dollar -Spring 2013" Contest. I found it to be a very nice substitute for the bottled and I liked knowing exactly what it contained. Thank you for sharing the recipe! :-)"
"Since I eat gluten free, I can't buy prepackaged Ponzu sauce, so this was much appreciated! I used gluten free reduced sodium tamari and was able to enjoy this wonderful citrus sauce. Thanks for sharing!"
"I made this today because I needed Ponzu Sauce for the "Dining on a Dollar" contest and I have to say, this stuff is fabulous! No need to ever go and buy it when it is so easy to make and so authentic tasting! Thank for posting, gailann!"
"This is far superior to "the real thing," if by that you mean bottled. This recipe is far fresher and tastier. I made this with cider vinegar and turbinado sugar."
"Thanks for posting this recipe- I'm planning on joining the "Dining on a Dollar -Srping 2013"Contest and lime ponzu is one of the ingredients that can be used. I haven't been able to find this sauce in any of our stores. Great to be able to use a home-made version and taste to see what it is like. Now, even if I dont submit a recipe, I can still try some of the recipes submitted by others. I used gluten-free soy to make this sauce suitable. Photo also being posted"
"We used this as a marinade for a venison roast that we made into sloppy joes. It was AWESOME! I did add an onion and green pepper while cooking the roast but this was the only other flavoring."
"Awesome sauce Gailann. Like many of the other posters, I couldn't find any Ponzu Sauce where I live. I'm so happy that I made this sauce. It was awesome, best of all I had all the ingredients in my pantry. Loved it and will be using it in all kinds of things now. Best of all, it didn't contain any preservatives. Thanks so much for posting a new favorite condiment. Made to use in the Dining On a Dollar contest."
"We can't buy ponzu sauce in Australia, so I was delighted to find this easy make-at-home option. I've never tasted ponzu sauce, so I can't compare with any 'real 'thing', but this will be my go-to recipe. Thanks for posting."
"I too made this for the Dining on a Dollar contest recipes. This was my first time trying ponzu sauce and it is delicious! Thanks Gail!"
