"This triple sec-free recipe was inspired by one from Tommy's Mexican Restaurant in San Francisco. Just remember, fresh is best - See variations at end of instructions! Try one or make them all! Taken from Bon Appetit May '12."

"Nice and super easy recipe! Was a nice change up from the bottle mix. Too bad lime prices have sky rocketed from .25 to .70 for a small lime. Either way, fresh is best! I used Lunazul Blanco (Silver) tequila which is ~$20 and is pretty good and smooth for the money. Overall it's a great recipe and will be adding this to the bar rotation. I might try a float of Grand Marnier on the next batch I make. Thanks for sharing!"
"Alligirl this is a winner. Thank you so much for sharing my new favorite cocktail. I made the fruity version, can't wait to try all the rest. Love tequila all types but the silver is my favorite. The ratio of berries, agave syrup and lime juice is perfect. I used an organic raw blue agave syrup, it worked beautifully in this drink. Made for the Fearless Red Dragons - ZWT- 8 - Family Picks"
"This is awesome Very smooth Made for World tour 8"
"Very good margarita! Loved how fresh-tasting this was, and the agave was really nice in this -- it just added something. I made the hibiscus tea version because I love anything hibiscus, but unfortunately couldn't take a photo of the gorgeous drink because both camera batteries needed to be charged :( . At some point, I'd like to try the muddled blackberry version as well. Thanks for posting! Made for The Honeys for ZWT8"
"This was quite delicious, my DH especially enjoyed it. We decided it tasted like a margarita for grownups and we should invest in better tequila for the next round! Made for ZWT 8 by one of the Wild Bunch"
"This was an excellent margarita. The agave nectar added such a nice touch. This is now my favorite margarita recipe. Thank you for sharing your recipe, alligirl. Made for ZWT8 ~ Mexico."
"I've never tried agave nectar. I loved it in this excellent margarita. Made for ZWT8"
"This is an excellent margarita. I used 100% De Agave, Patron Silver Tequila and a light agave nectar when I made this. Agave nectar is hard to mix into cold liquids, so you will have to shake your shaker quite vigorously to get it to mix. I started making my margaritas with agave nectar early this summer. I highly recommend you give it a try if you've never tried it before. I made this for Zaar World Tour 8 for the Bistro Babes team."
"My first time trying a margarita with agave nectar...what a difference! Loved it!"
"I'm armed and dangerous...a bag of Doritos and a margarita. Made for ZWT#8~Mexico/Tex-Mex."
