"These cookies are not too sweet and are quick and easy to make. They look nice on your holiday table. My Grandmother got this recipe from her neighbor and asked that I make them for her each Christmas. The rest is history!"

"These cookies are great!! I added a little food coloring to the mixture, and rolled them in granulated sugar, so that they "glittered"!! thanks .."
"These are excellent and EASY! I took them to work on Christmas and the first comment I got was "perfect". Thanks for posting!"
"I made these for the Christmas cookie trays. Everyone loved them! Butter, sugar and nuts - what's not to love? I was asked for the recipe more than once. Thank you for posting this recipe! Happy New Year!"
"Chose this recipe as I needed to bake cookies and really had nothing on hand in the house. Glad I did. These are excellent with coffee! Thanks."
"These melt in your mouth!! Good addition to your holiday cookie tray!"
"Thank you for posting this recipe. I lost my mothers recipe over the years. Looking forward to making it again. happy holidays!"
"Had my doubts.....they looked too easy
No eggs? No milk? 2 tbls sugar?
Sweet surprise! Can't wait for hubby to get home to try them.
Thanks for a GREAT recipe......now....do I want to go make another batch??"
"These cookies are YUMMY!! The only thing I did different was add another half a stick of butter to make it less crumbly, the were much easier to form into a ball to bake! Delicious thank you!"
"these were great! mine came out a little crumbly, maybe I cooked them for too long? Either way they were delicious, mine only came out to 30 cookies but we were nibbling the dough"
"these really are very good and super simple to make! i love that they are not too sweet."
"Easy to make. By using a standard cookie dough scoop my yield was 47. It should be noted for first time users of this recipe that the dough will not rise or expand so dough balls can be placed closer together than usual. I baked the entire recipe on one large sheet pan. I used the original Junebug recipe that called for both vanilla and almond and a 1/2 cup of confectioner's suger, in the dough. I will stick with original recipe, as it was very good. Do NOT overbake."
"These were great and very easy to make. I think next time maybe I'll try almond extract instead of the vanilla and see how it turns out. Thanks!"
"We've made these for years and put a cherry in the center! It's a staple for Christmas!"
"Yummy for the Tummy! I will definatly make these again. Thank you. "
"Good, easy cookie to make. "
"These are the Best cookie yet."
