back ribs, full racks
dry rub seasonings
1 1/2 tablespoons
apple cider vinegar
ginger, freshly crushed
chili pepper, red long chopped fine
1/3 cup honey or 1/3 cup
garlic clove, crushed
lemon, juice of
Combine all dry spices and blend nicely.
coat the back ribs and let stand to marinade for 3 hours or overnight in fridge.
Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees.
place ribs in covered roasting pan place in oven and roast for 2 1/2 hours.
combine all ingredients for sauce in a saucepan and bring to gentle boil for 20 min or until reduced by 1/3 or thickened to desired consistency.
once ribs have roasted remove from oven and coat with the sauce and place back in oven for 30 minute or bbq for 5 min per side and then coat with sauce and bbg for an additional 5 min per side on low heat.
