"This butter sauce is delicious over fresh English Peas. If you can't find fresh, frozen will do...cooked according to package directions;the ones in the steam-fresh bags work well, just eliminate the steaming step in the recipe! Prep time does not include the butter softening time."

"Super quick and easy side dish. We really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing your recipe, I will be making this one again."
"Omg these were delicious & I couldn't even follow the recipe, I just had to use the flavors! No oranges in the fruit bowl so I very briefly simmered the (frozen) peas in OJ. Just mixed the basil with butter & poured it over the top. Best peas ever, can't wait to try the actual recipe!"
"How could anyone refuse to eat their veggies when they are swathed in this delicious sauce? I used the frozen peas, and how good they were! Thanks for posting!"
"I used frozen peas in a steam bag for this recipe and they still came out fresh tasting. The basil and orange zest in the butter gives the peas a sweet fresh taste. Will have to try this with fresh peas next time. Made for Almost Five Tag."
"I went to Michigan to a large orchard and picked my own fresh peas. With that said, a very easy recipe to make and prepare. Nice, flavorful butter sauce, made recipe as written. Definately the butter sauce is the star here. Plenty of peas left over would be a great little lunch too. Served this with my recipe#317218#317218, Tagged and made in 1-2-3 hits."
"This was a perfect side last evening with baked salmon and brown rice. The orange addition was inspired and because I was putting orange zest in the peas I topped the salmon with a *very* light skiff of butter and topped that with an orange slice and added basil to that about half way through baking. This little green pea recipe made dinner last night!. :D"
"Super tasty and easy! The basil and orange rind add a whole new dimension to one of our favorite sides. Made as written the only thing I which is under cook the peas as our family likes them best when they are barely cooked. Will be making again and again. Thanks for the post."
