"Rather nice beans! Can be made richer with the use of cream and butter, or calorie conscious with yoghurt! From Readers Digest : Quick And Thrifty Cooking In South Africa"

"I made these as instructed except for using smoked paprika and wow, we all enjoyed these!!"
"easy tastes great"
"Loved these green beans - so delicious! The sour cream really adds a nice tartness/richness to the beans and the paprika really compliments them too. Served them with a sauted red cabbage dish and rotisserie chicken. Made for Culinary Quest - U. S. Southern Region, August, 2014."
"Other than the use of canned green beans (because fresh are not grown or imported here that I have ever seen), this recipe was essentially made as written for the Quest 2014 & served at a family dinner party that included teenagers and adults. They were an easy-fix, tasty & well- received. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us, Karen."
"This was an interesting way to prepare green beans. The sour cream didn't cling to my beans as well as in the photos, but it was delicious none the less. For Culinary Quest."
"These were super simple and easy to make. I sort of accidentally turned them into I-hope-you-like-paprika-green-beans because I dropped in half a jar, but they still tasted great! CQ"
"Great green beans. These were simple and good. Made these to go along with Chicken Kiev and it was a perfect side dish. Thanks for sharing. Made for Culinary Quest 2014."
"Amazing!!! I am so glad I tried this recipe. It's simple and totally delicious! I have found a new twist on green beans. Thank you!! Made for the International Agents of QUEST for the Russian region."
"Wow!!! What a wonderful way to prepare green beans. This is a very rich and tasty dish. To me, this is a perfect side dish to serve with along side of grilled chicken kebabs, yum!! My DH isn't a fan of fresh green beans, so I did sub canned cut green beans, otherwise followed as written. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for Please Review My Recipe Tag Game."
"I wanted to use fresh green beans but DH didnt have any luck finding nice ones at the grocery store. Instead I used canned green beans that I drained and did not have to keep them on the heat long to warm thru so that worked well with the sour cream. Great flavor and so easy and quick to make. Will be making this recipe again as soon as we find some good looking fresh green beans. Made and reviewed for PAC Spring 2013."
"Yummy, easy green beans! I used real butter and light sour cream and they were very tasty! I don't think I will try to reheat leftovers but just bring them to room temperature to not curdle the sour cream. Thanks Karen Elizabeth for sharing! Made for Spring 2013 Photo Tag"
"These were very tasty! Ashamedly, I like my green beans a little softer than most people and since the fresh beans at the store didn't look that great, I used frozen. As a result, I changed the cooking method slightly. I sauteed the frozen beans in a little oil in a non-stick skillet for 5 minutes then added the butter and onion, cooked until beans were browned slightly then added the paprika and sour cream. This worked so well, I will probably make them this way next time (and there will be a next time!) Thanks for sharing Karen E! :)"
"We liked these; I used smoked paprika, which gave it a nice flavor."
"We love our green beans around here, & this makes for a very tasty way to serve them! Simple, but flavorful ~ Couldn't be better! [Tagged, made & reviewed in Make My Recipe]"
