About This Recipe
"My grandmother was always the baker in our family and made these pecan pies for every special occasion!"
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup white Karo
- 5 eggs, beaten
- 2 -3 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 2 unbaked pie shells
Directions
- Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Pour evenly into 2 pie shells.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 45-55 minutes.
