"Simply, a hearty and delicious beef stew that I've enjoyed making for my family for years. The subtle flavour of the savory and thyme infused throughout with the fresh taste of good quality beef and vegetables makes this a satisfying and enjoyable meal throughout any season. Tastes even more delicious the following day!"

"Fabulous stew! Packed with flavour and interest. I made the recipe exactly as stated and especially loved the savoury added to it. Warmed up the following day made it even more delish. I'll definitely make this stew again and again. My family just loved it! Served it with a warmed up crusty loaf and yummers scooping up all the deliicious juices."
"MAde for PAC and very muched enjoyed this stew. I would not normally add in bacon drippings but made bacon for weekend breakfast so saved it. I followed the directions exactly as stated and added in the optional corn and wine. Used a merlot. Cooked this in my 6 qt cast iron DO and just loved it! The whole cottage smelled delicious and as it was FREEZING it was a great meal to have. DS and his g/f said they smelled it when they came up the drive. :-) as did the neighbors who came a calling. Served with a crusty artisian bread Recipe #340621 and garlic butter and oh HEAVEN in a bowl.Thank you baby!"
