"Having worked at McDonald's (whoa...that was over 20 years ago), I can tell you this is exactly like an Egg McMuffin, if you use a real egg and regular (not low-fat) cheese. It's McDonald's, folks. Their "recipes" have to be simple enough for a really dumb 16-year-old kid to learn to prepare quickly. It ain't rocket science."
"I am sure these are much healthier than McDonald's. recipe #97694 were used for the English muffin and a reduced fat Swiss cheese due to our dietary preferences. The recipe was well written and easy to follow. Made for *PAC Fall 2009*"
"This is an easy and very forgiving recipe. I also used multi-grain english muffin as that's what I had in the house, then found out my canadian bacon had gone bad so instead used bacon that I fried. Buttered both sides of the muffin for some extra taste and used swiss cheese in mine for personal preferance (DH had the American) it was wonderful and better than Mcdonal's as you can adjust to personal taste. Thanks Cloner for a wonderful recipe that's quick, easy and delicious. Made for PAC Fall - 09"
"Yummy! I used a multi-grain english muffin for more fiber and threw on just a touch of mayo. This is quick and easy to prepare. I like that it's lower in fat. Great recipe. Thanks for posting. Made for Fall PAC 2009 :)"
