"Very good. I made the recipe as directed using fresh frozen corn. It came out with a lot of liquid in the bottom of the dish ? from using the fresh frozen corn?"
"Really, really good! I reduced the recipe to 2 servings and it fit perfectly in a small stoneware baker. We like things a bit spicy, so the only change I made is to sprinkle some minced jalapenos on top before baking. It was also nice and easy, but a pretty presentation - so perfect for guests! Thanks, katew!"
"Absolutely delicious corn custard! So easy to make & wonderfully satisfying! Made it as given, & wouldn't change a thing! Many thanks for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed in Everyday Is a Holiday recipe tag]"
"EASY with a luxurious result!!! I just tested this for the oeuf (egg course) for a dinner I am serving next week. It puffs up and top cracks so nicely in a ramekin!!!! In future put a pat of butter on top as it comes out of the oven. I used fresh corn! Could do this with mushrooms, onions or grape tomatoes and garlic or artichokes....the list is endless...whatever is in season. I will use as a base for savory custards. Reduce servings to 1.5 (1 egg) and it fills 2 ramekins and bake 40 minutes."
"This was so easy to make ad turned out so good!! Made as is and it was done cooking in 45 minutes. I did sprinkle about 2 Tbs of cheese on top when it was done but otherwise didn't change a thing. I love that it was not watery in the middle, some of the corn casseroles I have tried that have milk in them never completely set. Will be making this again for sure; may even try adding a little crispy fried bacon...Made for Everyday Holiday."
"Made as written for ZWT6 & this is almost too easy, Kate. I made a half recipe for 2 of us, opted to bake in ramekins & adjusted bake time accordingly. We enjoyed this w/grilled pork cutlets & the always required potatoes for DH. Thx for posting this tasty easy-fix recipe for us."
"so simple & delicious! we love this kind of stuff here! be sure not to overbake because the edges will nearly burn. ;) made for Make My Recipe Tag in the Aussie forum. thanks, Kate!"
