"These are my personal favorite way to cook a hot dog. The skin becomes crisp while the interior remains extremely juicy. They are more on the well done side because that’s how I like them. If you prefer them not as well done reduce the cooking time and keep an eye on them. Enjoy!"

"This a great recipe that eliminates using different pots and pans to get a good hot dog. I like grilled onions and jalapenos on my hot dog, so i chopped some up, tossed with oil and seasoning and threw them on top of the hot dogs for the last 8 minutes. When there was 3 minutes left, I put the hot dog in the bun, threw the onions and jalapenos on, topped with cheese and baked it all together and was it delicious! I will never cook hot dogs any other way, its just simple and gives great results."
"This a good way to cook the hot dogs without all the mess. Also, you can cook a lot of hot dogs at one time. We used Nathan's hot dogs. The hot dogs will turn a nice dark reddish color after 10 minutes of cooking. Depending on your taste you can broil them a few minutes to get them dark and crisp."
"Soooo good! I see a vision...a hot dog push-cart in your future. It would work for me. ;-)"
"This is the way I do it when I cook dogs with kraut. 400 degrees for 10 minutes or a little browned - smother in cooked and drained kraut and topped with minced onions - another 10 minutes. Then I turn off the oven put in the roll to toast - and let it all marry for at least another 5 while I get ready to plate."
"I always cooked hot dogs by boiling water and placing them in the water. This is now my go to method for hot dogs from now on. The last five minutes, I put my buns in to get toasty. Put cheese on mine and sprinkled hot pepper seeds on it."
"This is an easy way to make multiple hotdogs without boiling. I am not a big hotdog fan but the oven roasted texture and the melted cheese made me one. Super fast and tasty. Thanks for posting OneYetTwo. I would make again for sure. Enjoy! ChefDLH"
"I made these for my daughter and her friends for lunch today and they all enjoyed them. Thanks so much for posting!!"
