Serving Size: 1 (111 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 8
"These are delicious scones-not overly sweet, tender inside with a nice cinnamony, maple flavor. I made for Spring PAC 2010, thanks!"
"Very tasty indeed! I don't use soy milk so I subbed whole milk. These were easy to make and we enjoyed them with our morning coffee. Thanks for sharing. Made for PAC Spring 2010."
"Soooooo good!!!! We couldn't keep our hands off'em! Quick too! Will make these lotz & lotz!"
"Imade these yesterday for a luncheon. They got rave reviews! The only change I made was to add 1/4 tsp Mapeline to the milk and maple syrup, to increase the maple flavor! These are a keeper and definitely worth serving over and over again!!"
"These are fabulous! They have such a nice flavor and texture. The size of the scones is quite generous. You could easily get a dozen (or more) scones out of each batch."
"Yes Dundra these are better than Starbucks! The cinnamon and nuts are center stage with the maple syrup adding a nice light sweet background melody. I made half the recipe which yielded 4 nice sized scones and used cow's milk instead of soymilk and did use the walnut option. You know I will be making these again. Thanks so very much for the post."
"Absolutely wonderful! I had to add a little more milk and when I rolled them out, they made twice as many, so I froze half. I'm at 7000 feet and made no adjustments for altitude at all. Next time, though, I might add a little more maple syrup- could barely make it out. I also used "sugar in the raw" sprinkled ontop with extra cinnamon. Made for a nice extra sweet crunch. Great recipe."
