"Our Sirenas created a lovely salsa here! I never would have thought of strawberries on my own, but loved the addition. As a personal preference I would leave out the avacado, I am finding that while I like avacado, I am not a fan of it in salsa. Made for Las Mistico Magicos Sirenas - ZWT5. Gracias mis señoras encantadoras!!!!!"
"Had to try my own team's salsa and it was really great! I, too, like it hot, so I used the whole jalapeno and a dash of cayenne. I'm going to try it atop grilled boneless pork chops next!"
"This was really good! I added a whole serrano pepper, 'cause the jalepeno was my choice, so I can change my mind ;) and because 1/4 of a hot pepper isn't spicy enough for this Sirena! I've not had cumin in a salsa before, and really liked it in this one, so I'll try that again. JB, I can see why you ate this by the spoonful - YUM! Made for ZWT5, for Las Mistico Magicos Sirenas (GO SIRENAS!)"
"What a great salsa! I love fruit salsa, but seldom seem to make them. This one is top notch. Even my 4 yo neighbor liked this one! Thnx for posting, KristinV. Made for ZWT5 for RRR"
"Very yummy fruit salsa! I used one whole jalapeno and I still felt it was pretty mild. I used my food processor to whip everything together, adding the avocado in at the very end. Tasted great with baked tortilla chips, although I think JanuaryBride is right, it would also be nice over chicken. I liked the cumin, but think next time I'd prefer it a bit spicier and would probably add a bit of cayenne or maybe more jalapeno. Made for ZWT5."
"Since KristinV posted the recipe, I can give it the first review. I really liked this salsa. . .it turned out great. . .not too sweet and not too savory. Very fresh tasting! I was eating it by the spoonful LOL, but this would be FABULOUS atop some grilled chicken breasts!!!! Feel free to add more jalapeno if you like it hot, as it is VERY mild as written. And if you want to sweeten it up a bit, you could use some pineapple or kiwi. Have fun with it and enjoy."
