"While this is technically a beverage it does make a nice guilt-free dessert after a heavy meal. I used almond milk, frozen banana and honey. DH and I enjoyed a double serving. It was very refreshing on a hot southwestern day. Made for ZWT."

"A guilt free healthy dessert! I made this healthier using flax, chia and hemp seeds. Making this drink an omega 3 powerhouse. Omega 3 has lots of protein and fiber and is an essential fatty acid critical for heart health, brain development, reducing inflammation and joint pain, managing depression, preventing dry eyes, lowering cholesterol, controlling high blood pressure, protecting bone health........ "I made this yesterday since my sister requested a copy-cat of Smoothie King's Angel Food Smoothie. According to Smoothie King, the ingredients are Strawberries, Bananas, Soy Protein, Non-Fat Milk, Vanilla, Turbinado, Honey. I found a recipe similar to this one on a forum; the only difference is that it called for 1/4 cup sugar. 1/4 cup sugar in a smoothie is ridiculous, so I used about 2/3 Tbsp honey and some splenda. It tasted alright to me, very fluffy from the milk. My sister wasn't quite sold though. I'll keep searching for the right combo."
