"I tried to get some fresh produce the other day and it was all puny. I decided to try making a soup with the veggies I had in cans. This was the result of that experiment. I woke up this morning to a house at a whoppin' 68 degrees, so I made soup figurin it would warm us up. The soup did the trick to say the least. I hope you guys enjoy it. We have a lot of spices and we like very intense spice, but you can doctor it to your personal tastes."

"i made a soup similar to this (canned soup, posted) but decided to try this variation. Excellent! The only change I made was i added extra fresh garlic because i didn't have the garlic-n-spice in my cabinet, also didn't have the chipotle so i left it out, and didn't add salt since canned vegetables have quite a bit of it. Very spicy (which i like), plus very good! Also, it is low in fat and high in plant protein and contains over a day's worth of dietary fiber, so this meal is excellent for people looking to control their weight while still feeling very full and satisfied. great recipe!"
