"I made these toasts for a breakfast treat for my girls and DH. They all loved it and it will for sure go into our breakfast options being quick to make and a decent start to the day. I used smooth peanut butter and otherwise stayed true to the recipe."
"Interesting recipe. I'm not sure if I really like the warm bananas or not but this all works together in flavors. I used this for breakfast today as I love toast with PB and honey but have never added bananas. I just toasted my bread in the toaster oven and then put them back in on the oven setting for the last bit. I think next time I'll do this but just not warm the bananas as the taste is spot on and it is more of a personal issue with warm bananas. Thanks for sharing - made for Went to the Market tag game."
"Awesome recipe. I'm like you Pat. I don't like warm bananas, but for some reason this recipe just works for me. Nothing fancy, just good eatin!!!"
"I loved the cool way to split the banana!! I made this for breakfast, and could only eat 1 slice, so I'd up the servings to 2. I also just eyeballed the peanut butter...probably used more than a tablespoon. Delicious! I've had banana sandwiches before, and had peanut butter and honey sandwiches, but never hot and never with cinnamon. Wonderful combination and a nutritious, fast breakfast. Thanks for the wonderful recipe. Made for Holiday tag."
"What a great breakfast. The peeling trick is wonderful lol."
"Yumm! Have always loved peanut butter banana sandwiches, but putting it under the broiler and adding cinnamon and honey just kicks it up another notch. Thank so much for remaking an old favorite."
"ok - splitting the banana that way was just too cool! It makes it fit on the sandwich beautifully. I didn't quite toast it long enough, but it was delicious. Will definitely make it again - a nice quick lunch on a cold day. Thanks! Made for the Aus/NZ Make My Recipe Tag 2009."
"Yum, yum, yum! I have actually made this twice. The first time I made it as stated...super yummy. The next time we made it with tortillas....also super yummy."
"I have never eaten bananas this way before, but I will from now on. Made for breakfast Sunday morning. Great breakfast sandwich. Made for Make My Recipe."
"I always enjoy the combination of honey and peanut butter and it didn't fail to delight here. I did use smooth peanut butter because that is what I keep in the house. Also, I felt I needed more than 1 teaspoon of peanut butter to spread over the two slices of toast but that is hardly a problem. Made for Everyday Holiday tag."
"Ewww, I loved this recipe. I only had normal bread on hand, but that made no difference at all, it was still sensational. I made 2 lots for brunch,I sprinkled cinnamon o the first, but didnt use it on the 2nd lot. Both ways were really yummy, and such a quick and easy recipe that just hits the spot. Thanks Pat, great recipe!"
"These were good. I used creamy instead of crunchy peanut butter because that is what we have in the house. I love the combination of banana and peanut butter, and the honey made it extra special!!"
"This made a wonderful breakfast! It really hit the spot. I will make this one often. Thanks for sharing!"
"Yummy! I made this for brunch today, I had to use two bananas because my bread was I used (Vienna Bread) was huge and wanted to cover the top with banana’s. The flavours all went well together and made a filling meal. Thank you I’mPat"
"Nice treat for breakfast that is definitely kid friendly. Next time I will use a less ripe banana and use half the amt of banana. I would also skip the honey, as mine was sweet enough without! Watch the bread very closely under the broiler; mine was burned after 30 seconds on low. Made for MAKE MY RECIPE. Thanks for a good breakfast!"
