"Progresso's recipe for pan fried crunchy tilapia (came from the back of a Panko bread crumbs box). You could use any mild flavor white fish for this recipe."

"So easy and yet So good! Loved it! Thanks for sharing."
"Really great tasting fish! It cooked up looking beautiful, and was moist inside. I felt the fish needed more seasoning....absolutely no salt in the recipe at all. I made as specified the first time for first time rating, but next time I'll add some seasonings other than the lemon pepper. Loved the panko! Made for PAC Spring 2010."
"Fantastic! Crispy, tasty and NO leftovers. Thank you for posting it!"
"Wonderful! Dbf complimented it 3 times as he was eating. He had his with beans, rice, and tortillas, while I had mine with green beans. There are not too many recipes I make again, but this will surely be one of them!"
"This is so easy and so fast to put together and it tastes great! Try it with one of Recipezaar's homemade tartar sauce recipes such as recipe #190321."
"Originally rated on 10/20/09 - This recipe made it into my book#266453. Yet another 5 star review for this recipe. It was SO SIMPLE and tasted SO GOOD! Even my non-fish eating son enjoyed fish prepared this way. I loved everything about it: the crisp coating; flaky interior; the slight taste of lemon pepper; and the sheer ease of the recipe. Definitley will be making this again! Thank you."
"I wanted it to have a bit more flavor, but it really cooked up nicely and was super easy to put together. I think I'll add more lemon pepper seasoning next time, or dry a different seasoning combination. I can see using a cajun blend. Very happy with overall results and will absolutely make again soon!"
"You can always tell a well-proportioned recipe by the results of halving it. I did so and, having no lemon-pepper mix, used Old Bay Seasoning. My fresh John Dory fillets were quite thin so I halved the cooking time as well. The result was sublime. Next time I'll try EVOO. Thanks RecipeJunkie for this perfect, crunchy/tender crusted fish recipe."
"Wow! That's all that needs to be said. The topping is nice and crispy and the fish is tender. Made as posted with no changes. This is a keeper. Thanks for posting. Made for Fall PAC 2009 :)"
"This was awesome! I used whole wheat panko, but that was my only change. This was great with a lemon squeezed over it when it was finished. Thanks for sharing!"
"This fish was off the chain. I used Panko Bread Crumbs with Honey that I ordered offline. It was crunchy and flakey at the same time. Will be making again and again. Thanks for posting."
"Tilapia is the only fish I will eat regularly, and this is a good recipe to have. Easy to make, and great flavor. I love the texture of Panko. Thanks, RecipeJunkie!"
"OMG! This was soooo awesome! I bought some tilapia & have never eaten it, but heard it was a mild, white fish & am trying to get 2 servings of fish a week. I used Mrs. Dash Lemon-herb blend for the lemon-pepper & fried in olive oil. Definitely a make again! Thanks for sharing the recipe( I bought another brand of panko!)"
"We have been preparing tilapia (our fave fish) with this method for years. I did not know Progresso made panko, as we have always used it in a bag. It makes a lovely, light breading and is a versatile coating for many sauteed dishes. Thanks for adding to my knowledge bank, RecipeJunkie !!"
