"Oh. Yeah. Wow, this is a potent java! Living in the sticks here, I did have to use what I have... Power was out, so I made the coffee nice and strong in a traditional Costa Rican drip bag (using awesome Costa Rican coffee grown right up the mountain from us!). Can't get Kahlua, but used a locally produced coffee liqueur. And Swiss Miss? Forget it, made my own with cocoa powder and powdered milk. No problem! Sitting here, watching a huge rain and thunderstorm roll in from the sea, but I'm nice and snug here with my amazing java. Thanks for posting! Made for Culinary Quest 2014."
"Great Mocha flavor. I really enjoyed this tasty drink. I made this as written and wouldn't change a thing. I garnished with whipped cream and a sprinkling of hot chocolate mix. Made for Culinary Quest 2014 - Suitcase Gourmets"
"It's cool enough this evening in Seattle that I enjoyed a hot drink. I used Starbucks decaff, and Jaques Torres drinking chocolate in place of the Swiss Miss (like coffee and beer, we take our chocolate seriously too!) I nice treat. Made for Cruisin Culinary Queens"
"Tasty coffee drink and perfect for after dinner. I added a very small spoon of vanilla ice cream to mine. Made for PAC spring 2009"
"I have to go with the crowd on this one. This is a delightfully smooth and tasty coffee beverage. The added cocoa mix adds a nice touch of chocolate without making it too sweet to drink. It was the perfect starter for the cold, snowy morning we woke up to today."
"Wonderful drink - rich, smooth and comforting! The cocoa added just the right touch to the coffee and Kahlua. Thanks for sharing this great recipe!"
"THIS WAS GREAT !!! Spouse and I enjoyed throughly this morning.Made exactly as posted, since I had all ingredients on hand. Definately will keep as weather is getting cooler here. Made for 1-2-3 tag."
"Since it is so hot right now in Florida, I made this in the morning when it still cooler, but cut this to a quarter of the amount. I had to sub the Swiss Miss with sugar as thats what I had on hand and did add a splash of half and half to lighten it up. This is DELICIOUS!!! This will be great in the cooler winter months in the evening!!! Thanks KateL. Made for 123 tag."
"Whats not to love about this? While I did back off on the amount of Kahlua by half, the coffee, chocolate and Kahlua combo is tops and it couldn't be any easier to make. It's summer atm but you wouldn't go wrong having this for a warmer when the temperatures dip low either."
