"This cookie comes out soft and is great cut like a pie and served with vanilla ice cream ( or chocolate). Make sure you use an oven proof skillet, I use cast iron."

"I halved this recipe and used only 1/4 cup of butter. also, I opted not to add nuts. I used our smaller 6 1/2" cast iron skillet and it took 30 minutes to bake. Easy to make, fun to eat! :)"
"I love this muchly. Thank goodness for good strong [pant] seams."
"Gracious sakes alive, I am still grinning after having a slice of this delicious cookie! I had with Vanilla ice cream and to me it's the ultimate! Doesn't get any better than this folks! Thanks for sharing Chef!"
"When my kids asked what was for dessert, and I said a cookie, the confused faces hit. I used 3/4 cup chocolate chips, and 3/4 cup butterscotch chips. The faces were more puzzling when I got the pan out. Ending result was a nice soft, moist cookie that I divided in fourths, after cooling, a nice twist on dessert, served with chocolate/vanilla ice cream. Made for PRMR Tag."
"My little girl wants one of those big cookie pizzas that they have at the grocery store every time we go by them. I always say "no way, we can make one of those that'll taste way better than that one". I used your recipe to make her one for her 9th birthday and it was a huge hit! I put it in a big enameled cast iron skillet like you suggested. I let it cool a while before carefully popping it out so it wouldn't break apart. I put it on a pizza tray, put whipped cream and sprinkles around the edge and a candle in the center. She was so happy. We were too because this was REALLY delicious. I thought it was super simple to make too. Thanks Chef Jean for posting this one! I'll be making it often."
"So good! Made just as directed. Thanks for posting!!!"
"Talk about chocolate heaven. My DW surprised me with this huge cookie with a heaping scoop of my favorite vanilla ice cream on top. We had it right out of the skillet, so it was warm and gooey and unbelievably delicious! Can't wait to dig into another one of these pieces of heaven!"
