"A few years ago I was looking for the real deal and found a website that I had to pay $2.50 to download a copy of the famous casserole's recipe. I still use this recipe til this day and have friends ask for it and receive kudos every time I make it."

"This is absolutely wonderful! It's been too long since I've had Cracker Barrel's potatoes to say how close of a copy this recipe is, but I really don't care. It's better than any other hash brown casserole that I've tried; the beef broth makes a difference. I did used diced instead of shredded hashbrowns."

"I don't know how close this is to the real thing, but I can say that it's really yummy! The beef broth gives it a deeper flavor than most similar casseroles. While it's not quite as creamy as some others, it's still cheesey and tasty. This is a keeper. Thanx!"
