"This is an extremely easy recipe for perfect crock pot chicken and potatoes. It smells wonderful and it's great to come home to a ready meal that only took 10 minutes to prepare. The chicken falls apart and the potatoes practically melt in your mouth! The potatoes cook in the juices from the chicken, so there's no need to season. They have great flavor. Add a vegetable as a side and you're good to go!"

"I used a mixture of chicken legs and breasts and I did sprinkle some spices on the potatoes as well. I think that adding a bit of lemon juice and minced garlic to this would be divine so I plan to try that next time. I decided to put the chicken under the broiler for a few minutes before I served it, just to add that lovely brown colour and crisp the skin a bit. "I used 2 bone-in chicken breast halves in place of a whole chicken and cooked in my 1 1/2 qt. crock. This was wonderful to come home to. The chicken was tender and juicy and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned. I used the leftover chicken breast in Recipe #324833 . I love these recipes that give me 2 delicious meals! "This is very easy to make. Just throw a whole chicken in the crockpot & dinner will be ready. I liked the seasonings in the recipe. They added a traditional roasted chicken flavor. I also added celery, carrots, & onions to the pot. Made for Spring '09 Pick A Chef."
"I made this and it's GREAT!!! I did change some things however - I used Lawry's season salt, Jamaican Jerk seasoning, & Cajun seasoning - I used this combo on the potatoes and both sides of the chicken (large leg quarters). I also put 4T of butter on top of the chicken & let it melt down as it cooked. Super good!!!! This one is going in my recipe box!!!!"
"Really Good! I pulled all the spices listed in this recipe from the cupboard and let my hubby do the honors of rinsing and seasoning the chicken. I was a lil hesitant because he is usually heavy handed. He also thinks he is the better cook in the house. He says when he cooks, the food tastes good, but not so much when I cook. Well, let me tell you, this chicken recipe def was tasty. I don't normally like chicken cooked in a crock pot, it just reminds me of steamed chicken. I requested hubby to cook in oven on 350 for about 1-1 and 1/2 hours. This recipe is definitely replacing any previous chicken and potato dish! Have already requested hubby def make this again!"
"Fantastic! A hit with the entire family. I doubled the recipe and used one-inch cubed boneless skinless breasts, tripled the baby reds & added juices from two freshly squeezed Mexican limes (it was Margarita nite). YUM. The boys were all about a Caesar salad that eve, but, I would have preferred a simple green leafy salad. Thanx for sharing.;)"
