"A very easy dessert. Kids and adults go ape over this one! Make sure you make the day before you serve, to soften the Oreo cookies. Prep time includes chill time."

"Everyone in my family loved this! It was easy to make. No cooking makes it a must for summertime. I made this dish is a 13x9 glass pan and crumbled the oreos fine for the bottom half. It was wonderful."
"Yooper, you should have seen my 5 year old twins faces after eating your lovely pudding. Oreo cookie mustaches :) To say that we enjoyed this is an understatement. It was so easy to make which is of major importance to me. It was rich, creamy, cold and chocolat-ee. We've got a new favorite. Thanks so much!"
"I make this recipe all the time, although I call it "Dirt"! I serve it in a flowerpot with additional crushed cookies on top and gummy worms sticking out...then I put some artificial flowers in it. Most people do not realize that it is to be eaten and when that first person starts to dig in, the other guests think they are eating a plant :) Kids and adults both go crazy over it and it is very easy to prepare, not to mention incredibly delicious!"
"I served this for dessert at a pool party last weekend and I have had ELEVEN phone calls from my friends wanting this recipe and it's only tuesday! What a hit! Thank you for posting this, I have found my favorite summer dessert!"
"Made this for a neighborhood party. Not only did it taste wonderful, it looked beautiful. I layered the ingredients twice, instead of once, as written."
"Very easy and very good!!! I used less fat cream cheese, lowfat whipped topping and one of the vanilla puddings was sugar free. Still turned out amazing. I took it to a family get together and everyone liked it. My kids LOVED it. Definite keeper!!"
"All I can say is that you would have to be deceased not to like this!! Rich comfort food. Served this at a potluck and it was gone in seconds. Just the look of it turned people on. Now that I've served to to my potluck friends, I just don't know how I'm going to top it!! "
"Made this for my hubby for our anniversary! He said it was just like the "dirt puddin'" his mom used to make. So this was ULTIMATE comfort food to him. I enjoyed it as well as the kids, but hubby is still raving."
"mark! This was such a great pudding!!! It was really light in texture. And so refreshing on a hot hot hot day. It went in a flash at work. And I have been asked to make it again already. :) Def best eaten COLD COLD. I was a bit worried at first that one cup of powdered sugar wasn't enough, esp when I tasted the mixture, but the cookies made up for it. It went really well. Just the right amount of sweetness. Wouldn't change a thing"
"I'm seem to be on a Yooper binge, and here's yet another awesome recipe of his! Dig this!"
"Loved this! I made it in a 9 X 13 pan."
"Made with 2 pkgs cheesecake jello--tstes like icing with a litte cake--so of course I LOVED it! Very sweet!"
"AWESOME!! have been looking for this recipe! everyone always loves it!"
"I made this as a Christmas dessert option for my DH and sons 4, 6 and 11. They were excited about the prospect when I told them about it, and all requested this as a new "family tradition" for all holidays and special events. I put half the recipe in a Waterford cut crystal bowl and it was beautiful. The other half went into a glass casserole pan and was even more delicious the next day. This was a big hit."
"This is AWESOME!!!!"
"yooper!! You've done it again with another fantastic recipe! My family loved this. My son had 2 helpings-LOL!! Thank you so much for posting this easy and delicious recipe!"
"My entire family went nuts over this! My husband said the cream layer reminded him of a rich vanilla ice-cream, I personally thought it reminded me of the white layer inside the oreo cookies, thus making the combination of cookies and cream delightful. The only comment I will make is that I wasn't sure how small to crush the cookies so I actually broke the cookies into large chunks which meant that they were still slightly firm even after 24 hours in the fridge. Also I used Morfat (which is a Greek tinned version of Cool Whip) so I beat it in with the cream cheese, butter and icing mixture before adding vanilla pudding mixes and milk. I had no problems with lumps this way. Thank you for a terrific recipe yooper."
"I made this for my superbowl party yesterday and it got great reviews. It was so yummy and I think I had about 4 helpings!"
"Very good & very easy! I didn't think it would be, but it was definitely better the next day. Thanks!"
