"From a Quick Cooking magazine from years ago. I love how simple these are to put together using a biscuit/baking mix. If using frozen blueberries, DO NOT thaw before adding to the batter. These are BEST served WARM."

"What a winning recipe. For the Bisquick I used Recipe#55564 (which I always keep on hand). I added about 2/3 teaspoon of lemon extract to the batter since I skipped the sugar topping for diabetic reasons. The muffins are really wonderful, they have a thin crisp outer crust and are heavenly light and fluffy. Not too sweet and they are pure pleasure :D."
"great way to use up some bisquick. Yum"
"Five stars for a very easy and quick muffin recipe! Love being able to use frozen blueberries too. These are very moist muffins that have the familiar "Bisquick" flavor. For us I think I would rather put the sugar and lemon peel in the muffin mix instead of topping with the sugar mixture. Thank you HokiesLady for posting your recipe. Made and reviewed for the 123 tag game in the game forum."
"My muffins are not high cause I had only 1 1/2 cups of bisquick left. So I used 1/2 cup of flour but forgot to add something like baking powder or soda. I used frozen blueberries. They're moist and tasty. And I forgot to do the topping :( Sorry about that Melissa. Thanks for posting this recipe. Made for Newest Zaar tag."
