"This is a keeper!! It is so great!! We have plenty of apples on our tree this year and THIS was a perfect recipe!! I may use a little less butter next time but not much:) Thanks for a receipe we will use for a long time to come:)"
"reduced sugar to 1 cup (1/4 and 3/4), reduced melted butter by 1/4 cup, had to use milk out of necessity and pecans instead of walnuts. Delicious! As apples become more abundant this fall, I will make again."
"Wow, this was good! Definitely not your traditional cobble, the texture was kind of like bread pudding. I did not have an egg, so I just omitted, I don’t think it affected it much. I will be making this dish again and again!"
"OMGosh!! This was SO good!! It's not a traditional apple cobbler but my whole family (and all of the friends we had visiting tonight) loved it. This is a dish I will take to potlucks for sure! We didn't get to try it with ice cream (turns out it wasn't in the freezer) but we did have it with Cool Whip and that was perfect. Thank you so much for this recipe!"
"I substituted what I had on hand: toasted pine nuts instead of walnuts; fat-free half and half instead of evaporated milk, and it still came out fabulous!!! I've made it twice and my husband and I love it. Thanks!"
"We love apple recipes and this one sure hit our sweet tooth and satisfied totally!"
"I tried this recipe out and it was totally awesome. It was almost like pudding. I would definately keep and reuse this recipe again. Thanks for submitting a very good recipe Denise."
