"Simple excellent recipe. It took 3 minutes on my Griddler turned to high. The touch of orange zest adds to the flavor - Next time I will add a bit of Grande Marnier just before serving. Thanks for a delish dinner"
"Hi, Lissa again, Well, I decided to try this recipe for my darling husband Jimmy who just loves steak. He works very hard making those copies, in color, both sides! He leaves for work early and comes home by 7:00 so I don't have a lot of time on my hands to create a great meal for him. I didn't have the dijon mustard or the honey and the only way I could cook it was in my crock pot because I don't have a gas grill and I'm out of the house "working" from sunup to about 11:00 at night. So, I placed the ham steak in the crock pot with a little old orange juice concentrate (use the one just past the expiration date)and a few pickles for a little zest and let it fester for about 12-16 hours. Boy!, He was thrilled! He called my on my cell just to ask me what it was and when I told him, he was amazed, he thought it was steak-steak! The best part is when I got home, he was, as usual, asleep on the sofa, a little drool dripping off his chin. That's how I know he's completely happy! Don't be afraid to experiment, missing an ingredient or two, substitute! No gas grill, use the crock pot, just increase the cooking time from 40 minutes to about 12 hours or so! As my Jimmy always says, it's all about the little people and You gotta live a little!"
