"This is an easy and delicious main dish. If you started marinating the chicken in the morning, this is a very quick main dish in the evening. Recipe from Family Fun. Prep time does not include marinating time."
Serving Size: 1 (199 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 4
"I could lick my fingers for a whole day after eating this! I made the thighs in the oven rather than grilling and the sauce was amazing! It must have been the ketchup. When the kids are eating it too,be sure it's VERY tasty. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT6.Go Vagabonds!"
"OMG the Best & Easiest teriyaki sauce ever! I didn't have enough ginger and garlic so I added 1 generous tsp each and it's still full of flavor. This recipe made a huge batch of marinade."
"Grilled teriyaki chicken is a pleaser in my house, so I used the chicken to mix with Recipe #180572 for the family and I had the chicken mixed with broccoli and some teriyaki sauce. I only marinated for a bout 30 min. but the chicken turned out with a nice flavor. Thanks Lavender Lynn, for posting. Roxygirl"
"This made for very moist and flavorful chicken. I reduced the amount of sesame oil, as a personal preference. I also made a double batch of the marinade (reserved from raw chicken) so my husband could pour extra sauce over his rice - by itself, the sauce is REALLY tangy. Served with rice and steamed veggie medley. Thanks for posting!"
"This is such an easy recipe to make and the flavor is really wonderful. I marinated the chicken for about 5 hours and then put them on the grill for about 10 minutes. Thanks!!"
"Loved this recipe!"
"This is a nice marinade - I was only able to marinate for about an hour and there was still plenty of flavor. I used it over beef cubes and shrimp. Delicious!"
"Made For Welcome to Asia -- don't forget your fork, ZWT4 2008. What a wonderful teriyaki sauce. Will not buy bottled any more. Served with steamed rice, red and yellow peppers, carrots, snow peas, corn and broccoli. Thanks for sharing Lynn."
"This is a quick delicious recipe. I marinated the skinless chicken breasts for 2 nights since I wasn't able to cook it right away. I was afraid the sesame oil might overpower the taste of it, so grilled it right away this morning, went out and when I came back at night, found that hardly any was left. It really must be good, if DH ate almost all of it for his lunch and dinner. At least I was able to have 2 pieces. Glad there was no strong sesame oil flavor in it. In fact, the chicken was tender and flavorful. Thanks!"
"What a beautiful blend of flavors! We finally hit the near 60 mark in the Puget Sound area so today was a grilling day! I had actually made this for our OAMC by dumping the chicken and marinade into a freezer bag, let it thaw in the fridge, and had DH grill it "low and slow". We'll definitely be eating this often throughout the summer grilling season. Thanks for posting, Lavendar Lynn!"
"I made this for dinner using 6 chicken thighs with the skin on and set them in the marinade in the morning. I then cooked them on the grill. I served them with a rice dish made with cream of mushroom and french onion soups and a salad. Very nice and quick meal to fix on a week night."
"This was excellent. Flavor was just what I was looking for. I used boneless chicken breast halves but other than that made as directed. We grilled this outside about 4 minutes on each side and it was perfect. Thanks Lynn"
"This was really tasty. I used boneless chicken breasts and let them marinade all day while I was at work. I cooked them outside (in 30 degree weather) on the grill. I followed the recipe exactly as written other then I used the breasts instead of thighs and didn't add the onion tops. Everyone enjoyed this and it was simple to put together."
"This made a lovely meal tonight. I use boneless skinless chicken breasts to make these a bit healthier. I used my indoor grill and it worked great. The marinade was excellent even tho I only had time to marinade these for about 3 hours. I plan on making these again with other meats. Very good!"
"My son kept cancelling dinner so I had the chicken marinating in the fridge for 3 days. It was definitely flavorsome, and tender too. Thank you for posting."
"This was so easy and delicious. I used boneless grilled chicken strips, marinated all day, made steamed rice and dinner was ready in a flash. The boys loved the taste of the chicken. I will make this part of my dinner with the boys night. (when DH works) Thanks for sharing a great easy recipe! ~V (Made for Bevy Tag Comfort Foods)"
