"This is one of my mom's recipes. I always have her make them for...well...anything! They taste awesome and it's very hard to eat just one. Enjoy!"
Serving Size: 1 (17 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 24
"These babies are just plain amazing! I used half & half instead of heavy cream because it was on hand; the filling was still very creamy. Because I was serving these for a 4th of July themed party, I placed a blueberry on top of the chocolate on each strawberry. I lost that cute little peak of chocolate, but it was a great presentation for the occasion. The guests loved them. One tip to make working with the berries a bit easier is to snip the tip of the strawberry off. This makes it easy to stand the berries up on plate after you have filled them with the chocolate. You don't have to take off much of the berry for it to work. Thanks for posting - this is a gem of a recipe!"
"Made these around valentines for a party. I left the tops on, layed the strawberries on their side then used the small end of a mellon baller to scoop out a hole. Then I dipped the bottom of the strawberry in white chocolate, allowed it to harden. I went on to fill each one with filling & topping each with small sugar hearts. What wonderfully delicious yet simple recipe. It will be my go to recipe when I am asked to bring a fingerfood to a party."
"I really liked these, so pretty and clever! A little too sweet for my taste, maybe use bittersweet chocolate next time. Definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing!"
"Sorry. We were so excited to make these and then so disappointed. The chocolate was not chocolate-y enough......probably b/c it is diluted with cream and cream cheese? Nowhere near as chocolate-y as strawberries dipped in chocolate. And they didn't seem to hold up well either. I made them the morning of my son's birthday party and put them in the frig. They were still in good shape when the party started at 2, but by 4 they were looking awful and no one really wanted them. Easy to make though."
"AMAZING!!! These were so easy to make, and they were quite the hit of the party! Great recipe :)"
"EXCELLENT taste and the presentation is very professional looking, for the split second before they are all eaten. Have made countless batches and am still expected to bring with me wherever I go even the doctor's office. Thanks!!"
"This recipe is awesome! Made this for our women's prayer group at church and it was the first dessert gone! So yummy and easy! Thanks for posting."
"These little bad boys were fantastic! I made them for our Valentine's Day dessert. I will be making these every year for our family dessert. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Any yes, it is hard to each just one!!"
"How smart! Much neater and tidier than chocolate dipped strawberries. These were a hit at out end of year PTA party, and I will be keeping the recipe close at hand whenever I need a dessert to impress."
"I made this exact recipe (which was wonderful on its own) and added a cream from recipe # 161835 to it. The cream was an amaretto sour cream sauce and it was wonderful when placed on top of the inside out chocolate strawberries. These were a great hit!"
"Lovely, beautiful, EASY, fancy, tasty and sure to please anyone! Such a fantastic recipe!!! Thanks for sharing!"
"These were so awsome! I loved them becuase the kids could have their choclate strawberries without the mess! Of course the grown ups ate as many ass the kids did!"
"I made these for my daughter's birthday. They were a hit. Hollowing the strawberries out wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (there's kind of a core inside them). Defiantely worth the effort for a special occasion."
"These were great!! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was because it was kind of a pain to get the strawberries hollowed out. Still, I would def. make these again for guests or a special occasion. I used the whipping cream (not kahlua) and the texture of the filling was just right. I sprinkled powdered sugar on them before serving and then tried to keep myself from eating the whole plate!"
"Awesome! I just made these for Valentine's and they are amazing! Way easier than I thought it was going to be. I'll definitely be making these again!"
"These were great! Quick and easy but they look fancy. My daughter always wants me to make choc. covered strawberries but this is a much easier and less messy alternative! Thanks so much! I read one person had trouble with the consistency but I used the whipping cream and mine was nice and thick, easy to insert with a Ziploc piping bag and filled up the berries nicely!"
"I ended up adding more powdered sugar for sweetness, but it was wonderful. LOVED IT!!!!"
"Just lovely! What a great little treat. And there wasn't a single one left! Totally addicting..."
"I uses the heavy whipping cream, I made these for a food day at work. It was the hit of the day. Everyone wanted to know the recipe, how to make them. This will be a favorite of mine to make for parties, get togethers."
"I'm giving this only three stars, not for the taste, because there was not one left! But I had an awful time getting the filling to stay in the berries! I made according to directions with the only difference being I added Bailey's instead of Kahula. I even tried setting the filling in to harden a bit, and tried again! These took me forever to fill and I was covered in chocolate! If anyone knows what went wrong let me know!! Just too much time and work for the final product."
