"I found this recipe in the "Authentic Italian Recipes Cookbook", compiled by The Christopher Columbus Ladies Auxiliary of San Antonio, Texas. My husband loves this steak! It's a nice change from the normal way we grill our steaks. I serve it with either Fettuccini Alfredo or baked potatoes."
Serving Size: 1 (106 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 4
"Thank you Kim D! There used to be a local restaraunt that served this dish. I always pestered the owner for the recipe, and he never would comply. The place closed down, and he died. One taste of this and it was like I was back in that restaraunt! I served this with my "parmesan and procuitto mashed potatoes" and a blend of sauteed zuchinni, onions, peppers and mushrooms. These steaks rock!"
"WOW!! Will be making this one over and over and over.. I also made up some mushrooms to eat with it, but it's not needed at all... Fantastic as is."
"This looks Great. I can't wait to try it. One thing, what is the side dish? Looks like maybe a type of cucumber salad??"
"What a great recipe can't wait to make it agaon. But I would like the recipe for the food item that was next to the Sicilian Steak picture. It looks so good and would love to have the recipe if possible. Thanks"
"Excellen t!!! I followed your recipe to the T and it was wonderful. Only problem next time I have to make more steaks the family complained that there was not enough. We had them with the garlic rosemary potatoes that were very good also. I used the broiler and your instructions were very good. Thanks for the recipe."
"I substituted crushed ritz crackers for the bread crumbs and grilled the steaks. I was a hit! Thanks!"
"This is an awesome recipe!! If I hadn't been as full as I was, I would have eaten another steak! I BBQ'd my steaks instead of broiling them but it worked out fine with your great suggestion to coat the grill with non-stick oil...I used Pam. I BBQ'd 4 minutes per side for medium rare. Two Thumbs up!"
"I loved this! I followed the recipe exactly. The broil times were right on the mark for my oven. This is a great recipe for those of us who don't have an outdoor grill but want to cook a really flavorful steak. I can't wait to gnaw on the leftover steak bones!"
"AWSOME!!! New family favorite!"
"This had great flavor, but unfortunately I over cooked it a bit. I broiled on HI for 12 minutes, thinking I would get medium rate, but got medium well. It also smoked up the house quite a bit. I will make it again, but will try cooking about 10 minutes and see how it turns out."
"A very good recipe with lots of flavours that we like. I might up the cheese a bit next time."
"My boyfriend will probably propose marriage after I served him this dish. "
"This may not be a fair rating as we are not steak eaters. ."
