"These delicious chicken breasts are stuffed with basil, garlic and parmesan cheese. Then they're grilled to perfection while basting with a lemon butter sauce. One of my favorite grilled chicken recipes. From Better Homes and Gardens."
Serving Size: 1 (141 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 4
"Next time we make this, we will saute the garlic before adding it to the stuffing."
"I had 2 large chicken breasts in the freezer, so I defrosted and then pounded them thin. I used the full amount of stuffing for the 2 breasts since they were so large and the amount was just perfect. Very easy to roll up and secure with toothpicks too... Unfortunately, it rained just as I was planning on grilling these, so I put them in the oven at 375F for about 15-20 min instead and basted them a few times with the butter sauce. They did not brown, so I dusted the tops with a little parmesan cheese and broiled them for just a few minutes. Very flavorful and moist. I can only think they would be even tastier grilled... I will try them again soon!!!"
"Very excellent and easy. I used pre-flattened chicken, but I think if I didn't have that I'd just cut an envelope into a breast. Cheeting, but effective."
"Excellent blend of flavors! I didn't change the recipe a bit, although did serve without the lemon- butter-sauce and it was plenty enjoyed! Not a problem wrapping chicken, after pounded flat in Ziploc bag with my meat hammer. Just served it seam-side-down for a prettier presentation. Thanks!"
"This was good, but was a bit of a pain to put together. My chicken pieces were about 4 ounces each, and I had a hard time getting them pounded into a shape that would be attractive when rolled. The lemon sauce was very nice, and added a good flavor to the finished dish. Thanks for posting a yummy recipe."
"This was a nice upscale looking grill recipe. I had small chicken breasts that didn't pound out too nicely, but the bundles still managed to look attractive. I used a freshly grated Parmesan and it gave the filling a creamy texture. Thanks Tee Lee, for posting another great recipe. Roxygirl"
"As of yesterday, this is my favorite grilled chicken recipe. It is definitely worth the little extra work. Thank you."
"Husbands comments: He is a bit of wine guy, so if you know the scale, he'd give it 91 points. What this means -- he definitely wants it again, the flavors were good, the stuffing, while modest had a big flavor punch. We used two very small lemons and about 1.5 tbl butter and the zest of one of these small lemons for the glaze / sauce. Husband recommended pine nuts being mixed in to stuffing.... maybe next time?"
"This was wonderful and one of our favorites recipes so far from Zaar! Definitely will be repeated at our house! Oh yeah - fresh basil is a MUST in this recipe. Thanks for posting!"
"These were delicious. My chicken breasts were so fat that instead of pounding the chicken flat, I cut a slit on the side and poked the stuffing in that way. They came out juicy and flavorful. Next time I'll double the sauce and the stuffing, or try to find smaller chicken breasts!"
"Thank you Tasha for an outstanding flavor explosion. Served with recipe #221844 for a terrific combo. Basil and parm inside were delicious, but the lemon sauce really sealed the deal. Yummy. :)"
"This was so great! My husband will not stop raving about it. The chick turns out very juicy."
