"There are a couple other recipes for these brownies, but mine is different. I got this recipe from my mother-in-law more than 15 years ago. All I know is they are called Hershey Syrup Brownies and they are very moist, rich and delicious. I make them whenever I am asked to bring brownies to a potluck. The fudgy icing make these brownies very rich. Feel free to omit the icing if you don't want them as rich. The brownies themselves are very moist and chocolaty."

"these are a moist brownie with a very rich icing, easy to make and soooo easy to eat!! I left out all nuts when I made these. I baked this in my Pampered Chefs stone 9x13 pan. I did something a little different in using this pan this time, that being I preheated the pan before pouring the batter into it. Took in out of the oven, buttered it, poured the batter in and back onto the oven for 30 minutes. They came out great. I used Dutch Process Cocoa from Penzeys Spices for the icing oh is that ever good!!! Lainey6605, thank you for posting this recipe. Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders 2007"
