"This is one recipe I NEVER want to lose! Prepared on Eyewitness News Midday by Dave Trombetta of the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. so it's definitely OK to post & share. This is one of the most delicious Shrimp recipes. I love it because you get plenty of broth to sop up with your bread, and it's SO flavorful. Definitely Cajun, so not for people who don't like spicy food. Enjoy & please post reviews! Cooking time may vary, based on type of rice you choose to serve, so cooking time does not include rice cooking time. Preparation time assumes you have shrimp that has been peeled and deveined for you. Cooks very quickly! I made this recently and doubled it, but I found that the flavor was diluted. If anyone makes this and is able to successfully double/triple the recipe with the same amount of flavor, pls post in your comment/review. I personally would like to have MORE broth than what this makes just like you get at the restaurant. It is spicy!"

"WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! This is a definate keeper!! I NEVER want to lose this recipe! Yummy and spicy and just plain GOOD EATS!! Thank you so much for sharing this one!! I can't wait to make it again!! 3 of us ate a WHOLE loaf of French bread just soppin' up the goodness!!"
"What a great recipe, my dh says you get 10*'s for this recipe. It was awesome on so many levels. Quick, easy to make, with easy to get ingredients. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender and juicy and the broth was out of this world. The flavor is to die for. Made exactly as written, wouldn't change a thing. We will definitely be enjoying this recipe again, thanks so much for sharing. Made for Name that Ingredient."
"This was a very tasty recipe but it is definitely NOT Bubba Gumps. I'm still looking. And experimenting!"
"Oh yum, for sure! Didn't change anything, loved the whole taste and presentation! My shrimp loved dipping in their broth, and the bread and rice alongside was heavenly. Thanks for sharing this recipe! Made for Naked Recipe Game Sept. 2012"
"Yummy! I woke up craving this today so I decided to search online. This is my fav dish at Bubba Gump's but we can't afford to go very often. I am kinda confused about how many calories it sayes, I was reading the nutritional facts for the ingredients I used & it shouldn't have been that high."
"Made this for dinner tonight...I don't have experience cooking shrimp but my son requested it so I'm glad I picked this recipe. It was very good and easy."
"Had it for dinner tonight, it was wonderful!"
"Absoutely wonderful!! Thank you so much. We are in Alabama and the only Bubba Gumps that we have been to is in Daytona. I actually crave this dish and when I found this recipe I thought No Way...But then I made it. It is just like the restaurant!! I doubled the recipe and coud not believe how good it was. Amazing!! Thank you again!!!! We can have it at home now!!!"
"I found this recipe for ny husband about 4 weeks ago. OK, so we've have eaten it every weekend ever since. He had gone to Bubba Gumps with friends and tried one of the guys "Shrimpin Dippin" and I got so tired of hearing about it I finally went online and searched Bubba Gumps Shrimp Broth and thank the Lord this is what I found!!!!! Guys, this is one in a million! Take it from two people who DO NOT eat shell fish or seafood of any kind! Don't miss this one!!"
"great! there wasnt much flavor on the rice except the pepper but when you dip bread in the broth it is the best!"
"Great flavor and spicy. I made the recipe as written but used Recipe #147961 and Recipe #14190. Loved this shrimp dish. Also made fresh french bread so was a great way to spend the day cooking."
"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this recipe. really easy to prepare and exceptionally tasty. this is now a staple menu item at our house. the only things i do different are to use homemade shrimp stock instead of the clam juice, and i also add some fresh herbs at the end (parsley, chives, dill, thyme...whatever i have on hand). thanks so much for sharing this recipe!"
"We loved this! My 6 year old was begging for shrimp for dinner, and I found this recipe. It sounded so good I ran up to the store to get the clam juice and french bread, and I am so glad I did! DH LOVED this dish. I served it with a side salad and white whine, added about a quarter cup of wine to the broth before bringing it to a boil. I used previously frozen already cooked shrimp that was thawed, and it was amazing. Thanks so much for posting!"
"OMG! I am so happy. I was about to make my normal shrimp scampi when my DH said just look for that recipe you love from bubba gumps online! I knew I married that man for a reason. This is one of my all time favorite ways to have shrimp. It is yummy!"
"This was fantastic!!!"
"This is some good stuff."
"This is the best. My husband and I both just raved about the taste. I had it at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at Mall of America, and have been looking for the recipe ever since."
"First had this dish in 2000 at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co in Honolulu. Then again at the San Francisco Pier 39 location while on my honeymoon. New husband loved it and begged me to find the recipe. Since we don't have a Bubba Gumps in Dallas??? (eveyone here thinks Dallas has the best resturants-NOT!) I searched for the recipe and found it on this site. FANTASTIC! I use either clam juice or a frozen seafood stock from Whole Foods. Either way it's great. Made a 10X batch for a pot luck at work and it was gone in 5 minutes. Co-workers were down on their knees begging for the recipe! Even my "I don't like spicy food" mother-in-law loves it so I'll be serving this dish for my Christmas Eve family dinner. That's all they want for Christmas..LOL Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!"
"This was great and really easy to make. Even my picky daughter loves it."
"An excellent lunch or dinner entree that I have enjoyed at Bubba Gump's restaurants, and adapted to accommodate more servings for dinner parties, etc. Doubling portions in the original recipe doesn't work, as Christina points out, so we experimented with this at our bed & breakfast. You'll find all the flavor and spice that Bubba puts in his recipe, plus generous portions of the dipping broth! Find it at http://www.recipezaar.com/229492"
