"Got this off the internet. Turned out to have a very nice flavor and was beautiful. I also enjoyed the textures together. Be sure to use the firm, flat, non-astringent "Fuyu" persimmon NOT the squishy dry out your mouth kind."

"Excellent salad!! Light and sweet with the crunchy nuts covering the crunch of pomegranate seeds, very nice"
"What a treat this salad is! I have never tried Persimmons before and they are wonderful. This recipe is so easy and attractive. Thanks Engrossed for a new taste treat."
"Very simple and good salad. Used toasted walnuts and was delighted with the flavors. Thank-you!"
"I very healthy snack that is light and refeshing. My 2 year old really liked it too. I will definitely be making this again."
"I love this salad! I can sit down and eat the whole thing by myself! It is very pretty and has a nice contrast of textures. I like that it has no sweeteners, just fresh ingredients. This is a salad that goes well with anything."
"A very nice salad for healthful snacking!"
"This was really good! It is very light and made a nice before dinner snack. Usually when I peel pomegranate I end up with red fingers. I used a trick I recently found in a magazine.Score the peel of the pomegranate then fill a bowl with water. Break apart and take out the white part of the pomegranate while it is under the water in the bowl. The seeds will fall to the bottom. Strain the water and you will have your seeds with no stained fingers!"
