"I tried this one morning when I was out of blueberries (my usual favorite) and it is surprisingly good! I am posting it because, like me, I am sure not too many people would think to put strawberries in oatmeal, but it actually has become one of my favorite ways to eat oatmeal (a daily staple for me!) Also, fruit measurements are estimates, as I usually just use whatever I have."

"Very nice change of pace. The milk and strawberries shined very nicely over the background of oatmeal. Made as written and after tasting did add some Splenda. Thanks so much for the post."
"Very tasty, we have lots of strawberries and I was looking for a way to use them for breakfast. This was quick, delicious and filling. I added some molasses to sweeten it. Thanks for sharing it!"
"eating it right now... it's delicious i used agave nectar to sweeten - oh yummy"
"This was really good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written using milk and frozen (thawed) strawberries. Our berries weren't very sweet so I did add some Splenda. My boys and I really enjoyed this for breakfast on a cold, windy day."
"O really liked this recipe. I love oatmeal and this was just an added delight. O and you tried my peanut butter cracker cake. Since you've thought of chocolate chips, I sometimes use mini m&m's."
