"I have made this for Christmas and also for Summer parties - it is delicious! It keeps in the fridge for up to a year (as I am writing this, I am having a sip of my liqueur I prepared for Easter - and it is still as good (if not better)!! I got this recipe from a Cooking light magazine."

Everyone who tried it thought it was delicious! I loved it with 1/2 gingerale and 1/2 club soda, but it was wonderful on it's own as well. "January 10: So far, this gets 5 stars for ease of preparation. With no fuss or muss, the jars are on a shelf in the cellar, waiting for time to work its magic. I'll report back when the three weeks are up. February 4: I have now strained out the cranberries and then strained the liquid twice. The result is a very clear, very deep red liquid, thinner than most liqueur/cordials. The taste is superior--there's no harshness and it is not overly sweet. This is wonderful as a cordial (and so pretty in the little crystal cordial glasses) and fabulous as the base for a cranberry martini/cosmopolitan sort of cocktail. Thanks, Redsie! UPDATE: Now, December 2007, this is so refined and elegant--almost like a cranberry cognac. It keeps getting better--but we are now almost out so it's time to start the process again."
