"GORP is great food to have around for those starving kids when they get home from school. With the weather being so weird right now, I also put a bag of this in my van in case we get stuck somewhere. It's always a good idea to have some high energy food in case of an emergency, and this keeps very well. I loved it, we all did. I think it would be great with peanut butter chips too. "Yummy snack mix! I used gluten-free muesli with rice bubbles, sunflower seeds and linseed in place of the granola and added some cashews. Next time I make up a batch of granola, I'll try this again. Thanks Laffer!"
"Yum! My girls and I like to mix up our own snack mix, and we usually end up with a blend somewhat similar to this. The coconut was a new ingredient for us, and it's quite good in this mix. We usually use dried cranberries and less candy chips, replacing with whatever else we happen to have around (pretzel sticks, small crackers, etc). There's just something about the salty/sweet combo that makes this great! Thanks for posting! Made for PAC Fall 08."

"You can't go wrong with this wonderful snack. I added a cup of chocolate covered sesame seeds to the mix and used craisins instead of raisins.. I'll be taking it to work tomorrow to share (don't want to eat ii all by myself) Edited to add: After declaring that she wouldn't eat this because she didn't like nuts or dried fruit and I took the GORP to work, DD and her friend wanted to know where it went because it's really good and would I make more, please. :)"
"What a treat! DS and I I made this together while at lunch as an afternoon snack today. We added peanut butter chips and dried cherries... didn't have any chocolate chips.
