"This is an old recipe that I have had since the 70's. It is off one of those mail order recipe cards. (before the internet). You can cook the bacon in a microwave oven. (this wasn't around either). Because it is served cold it makes a great summer side dish. Enjoy!"

"This was good. I omitted the onions because my boys don't like raw onions. This was easy to throw together but think I might like it warmed up better than cold. Thanks for a great recipe. Made for I Recommend Tag."
"Very nice! Tasting it shortly after mixing, I was afraid it would be too sharp for my taste, but the chilling time (for me it was overnight) mellowed the taste beautifully. When using canned or frozen beans, I tend to prefer french-cut green beans, so that is what I used. I recommend this; it's easy and yummy."
"I love this. It is simple to prepare and tastes delicious. Thanks for sharing! Made for Gimme 5 tag."
"Oh Teresa - this is a fantastic side dish! I served it with grilled hamburgers over the weekend. The flavors are wonderful. I was concerned that my kids would not like this cold but 2 out of 3 loved them. Thanks for sharing! Tagged in 123 Hit Wonders."
"This is wonderful, easy and delicious side dish! So quick to make, and using the precooked microwave bacon made it that much easier. We really liked these beans and I will use this recipe often - thanks for posting it!"
"Mom, you forgot to cook the green beans is what I heard ! I wasn't sure how my family would react to cold green beans, but they really enjoyed this recipe. I did cut back to 1/4 tsp. salt but left everything else as posted. This would be great for a potluck as well. Made for PAC fall 2007."
"This was good. I might use a little less vinegar next time. This recipe was a nice change from the usual green beans. Thanks!"
