"From The Brickhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Good, fun way to make an omelet. Obviously, you can play with ingredients from ham, sausage, potatoes, etc."
Serving Size: 1 (221 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 4
"Very easy to put together. I halved the recipe and used an 8 x 8-inch pan. I took the advice of a previous reviewer and added black pepper, but it still was a bit lacking in flavor. Garlic powder and/or onion of some kind in the egg mix, maybe? But a good, basic starter recipe, and I will experiment with it, because it is so easy and quick for a week night supper!"
"This was real easy to make, and it was good, but something I think was missing. The DS enjoyed it, and so did one of my kids, so we got a split decision here. Will make again ."
"Mixed reviews here, too. I loved the concept (I like Japanese rolled omelets, too) and this was so easy to roll. I loved the speed at which this cooked, and the fact that I didn't have to babysit it. But then I tasted it. DH and Roommate thought it was "okay", DD loved it. I thought it was kind of rubbery tasting. I don't know. I might play around with with ingredients . . . It has such potential! I wish I liked it more."
"Pretty good, need lots black pepper, I use half and half cream in place of milk to the egg mixture to create a softer omelet and also added in some green onions, thanks lazyme!...Kitten"
"This was a nice change for us, however it lacked flavor and the eggs were a little tough. I used peppered bacon, a mix of Mexican cheeses and added salt and pepper, but it still lacked something. Maybe some chopped green onion next time. "
"This got mixed reviews here. I love the simple prep but found that it needed a zing. DBF and DS both found it filling but also needing something else, DBF was putting jalepenos on his and DS ranch dressing! I used 1/2 bacon and 1/2 chopped cooked ham and think it could of used more of each. I also added fresh ground pepper to the top. There were no oven temps listed so I baked at 375 and it took about 20 minutes to set. Was easy to roll up with the help of the foil and a rubber spatula. Served it with american fries and onions and maybe next time I will put them in the omlet. This will be made again, but with many additions cause it will be very flavorful with different combos of meats and veggies and cheeses. Thanks lazyme!"
