"This one was given to me by a girlfriend and be cooked on the barbecue or grill plate. Lamb can be marinated longer, even overnight if desired. Cooking time will vary depending on thickness of chops/cutlets but on average I find about 3 minutes per side will give a slight pink centre and be moist."

"Wonderful marinade!<br/>So easy and simple to do, and the family loved the extra flavour on their lamb.<br/>Thanks Pat, will be making this again for sure."
"This was our first time trying lamb. We wanted to keep it simple so we could taste the flavor of the lamb. The chops were fantastic!! We fried them in a pan for about 5 minutes per side. The balsamic and rosemary really complemented the meat without overwhelming it."
"Made as directed on the barbie. Delicious! Thanks, I'mPat! Made for Aussie Kiwi Recipe Swap #69."
"Fantastic marinate! I went to two different supper markets yesterday and could not get lamb and at the second one could not even get pork chops as it was late I ended up settling for a pork stake and figured if it did not turn out I would just wait and review this recipe in a week or two when I could get lamb chops. Well guess what this marinate supper well on my pork steak and was Sooo Yummy. This recipe is a true keeper that I am already looking forward to using again, thanks for the post."
"Yummy! I used a rack of lamb chops as I couldn't find traditional loin lamb chops in any of the markets, so when I saw the rack I was happy! I marinated the rack for about 15 minutes and grilled them on our new grill. Made for Potluck tag, Summer 2010."
"Very easy- very tasty. I added splash of garlic powder and let marinade for 90 mins."
"Delicious as usual with your recipes Pat. Never a disappointment. This went well with mashed potatoes and oven roasted cauliflower. Made for NZ/AUS Make My Recipe Edition 9"
"A lovely simple dish to make & full of flavour. Hubby said I should do lamb chops like that more often. I used chump chops and just cut off any extra fat before cooking. Thanks Pat!"
"I made these for hubby and Little Miss (DD) and they both enjoyed them. Hubby said lamb was even more tender then usual and the flavour was really great. I used white balsamic vinegar and marinated them for about 4 hours. I didn't get to sample the lamb (I only eat seafood and poultry) but hubby and Little Miss enjoyed the lamb. Thank you I'mPat for a easy recipe."
"WE only have lamb on special occasions, and I made these for a birthday dinner. I used loin chops. I marinated the chops about 4 hours, and cooked them on a Foreman grill. They were to die for! Flavors were great. This recipe is very special. I took bluemoon's suggestion and added a bit of garlic to the marinade. Looking forward to more special occasions :)"
"This is the first time that I have prepared lamb and it could not have been easier! The flavors really enhanced the meat. My BF had never had lamb before and he was licking the bones. I cooked them for 5 minutes per side for medium rare and drizzled some good balsamic on top of them once they were plated. Thanks so much."
"This was very delicious, according to my DH, who I made these especially for. He loved them, said they were tender, moist and very flavorful - I included 1 clove of fresh garlic in the marinade. This will go in the keeper cookbook, under the "For Mister" heading. Thanks so much for the recipe Pat. Made for Potluck Tag, Dec 2008."
"A good lamb chop is right up our alley and these did not dissapoint. Apart form some of the marinade getting a bit burned in the pan these cooked up easily and were tasty indeed. Please see my rating system: for ease and flavour these get 5 stars in our house. Thanks!"
"We don't often eat lamb chops so really enjoyed these. I added a couple of cloves of garlic to the marinade and marinated them overnight, then grilled them. Really delicious! Thanks for sharing another super recipe, Pat! Made for PRMR!"
"Yum! I made this exactly as directed except that I marinated them for about 1 hour. Easy and delicious. Thanks I'mPat for sharing. Made for Photo Tag."
"Use this recipe for leg of lamb but I find that it is better to boil down the balsamic - it adheres better and has more flavour. Can be marinated overnight. Thanks for submitting because very few recipes here have balsamic in their marinade."
"Really tasty, I used lamb leg steaks which worked fine, they were tender and tasted delicious. Great recipe, thanks for sharing."
"We loved these. This is very similar to what we usually do but the balsamic gives a bit of additional "zing"! We did add a few TBSP of minced garlic which I think added to the flavor."
