"I love veggie pizza! I did use a prepared sauce and omit the broccoli, but otherwise followed the recipe. I also added grated parmesan before baking. The pizza was very colorful and the options are endless. I rated this a four as I thought the sauce as written needs more flavor. Terrific job by your team! "
"This was really good! I am a sucker for vegetarian pizza. I used my homemade pizza dough recipe. And topped as posted using canned mushrooms, and chopped frozen spinach (all I could find) and yellow onions. I think there were simply too many wonderful flavours all put together. They tended to cancel each other out. Every bite was interesting though!"
"This recipe is so easy and tastes great. We love cracker thin crust and this is it. I stretch the dough really thin and then spread olive oil on top before baking on a sheet of foil for 10 mins. Then I put the toppings on and put it back in the oven without the foil and bake for about 10 more mins and it always turns out great"
"I used my own pizza dough and sauce recipes and completely forgot to use the spinach that was on the counter along with everything else *DOH*. I managed to get broccoli, cauliflower (micro blanched), green pepper, onion, mushrooms and calamity olive slices onto it along with the Italian herbs. The out come was really scrumptious and far better than anything you could get from any restaurant in this town! I make pizza with extreme rarity but I'll come back to this the next time. "Icelanders love veggie pizzas, but sadly do not know how to make a good one IMHO. The ingredients show little imagination & the amt used is scant. I made individual pizzas on pita bread (2 halves ea) & did omit the spinach (not a DH fave on a pizza). All else was available from the fridge & that is part of the appeal of this recipe. It is veggie-rich, ingredient-friendly & tasty. The Gourmet Cruisers did good w/their pizza effort. :-)"
"A great veggi-licious pizza! I used Pizza Dough Recipe #142066 and Italian-style tomato paste plus garlic to make it. For toppings I used small broccoli florets which were parboiled for 3 minutes. I also included fresh chopped spinach leaves, bell pepper pieces, sliced mushrooms, chopped Roma tomatoes, and black olives. We enjoyed this pizza ~ Thanks Gourmet Cruisers!"
"WOW did I make a pizza! I cheated and bought some prepared pizza dough..I skipped the fresh tomatoes and doubled up on the sun dried ones. I chopped the broccoli, precooked and drained it well before putting on the pizza! I used red and yellow peppers, cremini mushrooms and slivered extra garlic on top. I used fresh spinach and sliced it thin. The only extra ingredient I added was quartered artichoke hearts and sprinkled pizza with red chili flakes for some heat!
