"These are a great idea. Instead of buying donut holes I got a container of frozen mini cream puffs and just defrosted them long enough to get the skewer through them without breaking them. If you get the chocolate iced mini cream puffs you can skip the chocolate drizzle for a quicker dessert."
"Took these gorgeous little desserts to a Labor Day bbq and thought I'd sneak up to grab one before everyone got into the desserts...lo and behold there was ONE LEFT! I seriously couldn't believe and still wonder how they disappeared so quickly. First of all, this is a gorgeous dessert....bright red of the strawberries and the cakey donut hole with just a little chocolate drizzled on top. Second, these could not be any easier to make..no joke-about 10 minutes for a plate full. I can't wait to make these again and again....thanks!"
"I usually end up making about 30 of these kabobs for work functions. they never last long. One time i made about 50 of these kabobs, dropped them off at the work function and when i came back 30 minutes later, they were gone. i was so shocked! It's amazing how much adults love these snacks. I use a pretty heavy drizzle of chocolate and white chocolates."
"I won't rate this exact recipe since I did it differently, but just had to share this tip. I took a Sara Lee poundcake and cut it into bite-size pieces. Then I alternated cake, strawberry halves and raspberries on the kabob. Then I drizzled with white chocolate only. So cute and so yummy! I wouldn't have thought of it unless I read your recipe though. I'm just not fond of donut holes."
"Simple, easy, and cute !!!"
"I made these for a BBQ. It was a great, simple recipe. I also made a couple with just strawberry and marshmallows because some of the kids have wheat allergies. I also made a couple with chocolate doughnuts. This is such a cute concept."
"These are awesome! I made a triple batch for a potluck last week and had no leftovers! I used half honey dipped and half chocolate timbits and drizzled melted milk chocolate chips over it. Will be making these again this weekend!"
"Made these for a luncheon that I cater and they were a hit! They were too cute! Very easy to make also. I used Wal-Mart bakery glazed donut holes but I think next time I may use Dunkin Donut holes because they're a little less dense than the Wal-Mart ones. Thanks for posting!"
"I took this to a church outing on a riverboat tonight, it was a hit! Thanks so much."
"This is too cute. I am going to make this for my daughter's Birthday. We are going to have a princess tea party."
"So quick and easy! These are very pretty and would be great to take to a potluck. Thanks!"
"So good, so wonderful and beautiful to serve. My family really enjoyed these. Thanks!"
