"This recipe was taken from Better Homes and Gardens magazine, I make these with my Kitchen Aid stand mixer with a few amount adjustments, prep time is only estimated depending on how long your dough cycle is, these are very good!"
Serving Size: 1 (26 g)
Servings Per Recipe: 30
"WOW.... These bread sticks are SOOO... good. Husband asked me "did you make these??" lol. However, I managed to burn the first batch because the oven was too hot at 200 Celsius (and middle still doughy). Reset the oven around 170 and 180, then it came out perfectly :-). Thanks so much for the recipe."
"These bread sticks are GREAT! DH is still talking about how great they are. He has eaten many of them. I made them to go with Recipe #17566. A great combination."
"These are SO good... the smell is amazing while they are cooking. They were absolutely perfect! Thank you for sharing!"
"Breadsticks went over very well, nice compliment to Tuna Bake #179972."
"From the recipe I made twelve really big (12") breadtwists similar to those served at a local restaurant. They are fun to eat and taste really great with the Pepper-Jack cheese and cracked black pepper included! I used my KitchenAid stand mixer to make the dough then let it rise 1 hour before proceeding with step #3. I did not use the eggwash (steps #9-10) but sprinkled the rolled out dough (after step #5) with Parmesan cheese and gently patted it in. Then I let the shaped breadsticks rise about 30 minutes before baking them. My family loved it that I baked these for them ~ Thanks Kitten!"
"Delicious - I used my bread machine for making the dough - and these were also fun to make. I sprinkled the breadsticks with Parmesan (but will try the salt and pepper option next time). Thanks for sharing this keeper!"
