"Easy, quick & delicious. As a WLS post-op I don't eat bread so I omitted that. After the shrimp and salsa was finished I layered the avocados on top then the cheese and broiled right in the skillet. I ate mine with a fork and DH had his on toasted wheat. Very good."

"I can't believe no one has tried this yet! These are great! I used some leftover homemade salsa verde (Rita L.'s recipe, actually) that I had, topped off with a quarter-cup of jarred medium tomato salsa. I used a loaf of fresh French bread that was hot when I picked it up at the market a couple hours earlier (I was aiming for the Italian bread, but I couldn't pass up the hot French bread!). I think DH ate half the recipe himself (cringing as I look at the nutrition facts to the right lol). Oh well, this tastes great anyhow! I'm sure DH will be requesting this again. Thanks for posting!"
