"They were good, but basically a chocolate chip cookie with almond and a little bit of coconut. I saw other reviews saying to use coconut extract instead of vanilla but I didn't have any. Maybe that would have given some more coconut flavor and would have been more "Almond Joy" like. <br/><br/>I made a whole batch which says 5-6 dozen, but I ended up with about 150 cookies!!! Maybe I made them a little smaller, but holy cow! I didn't make them THAT small!"

"These are quite good! It was a bit challenging to get all the "stuff" (coconut, almonds, chocolate) mixed into the dough. I baked each batch for 12 minutes and ended up with a really crunchy cookie. I like how the recipe is easily halved. I made a half-batch and still ended up with 5 1/2 dozen good-sized cookies."

"These were very good cookies. I made the whole batch and got almost 8 dozen cookies out of it. After making 2 dozen or so, we tasted them and really couldn't taste any almonds. I added some almond extract, but they still tasted like just chocolate chip cookies with coconut in them. I think next time I make these, I will toast the almonds first...maybe even the coconut. Thanks! (I reduced the temp to 350* and still needed only 8 minutes bake time.)"
"I love this kind of cookie--just enough dough to hold all the goodies together. Chock full of chocolate chips, nuts and coconuts, these cookies are so rich you shouldn't make them too big. I used a small cookie scoop (2 teaspoon) and make 5+ dozen bite-sized cookies with half a batch. I felt I had better results pressing the dough down a bit, rather than leaving them rounded as the dough is quite stiff. Very good cookie though!"
